Kathy Escobar co-pastors The Refuge, a Christian community and mission center in Broomfield. She offers individual and group spiritual direction both in person and online, primarily focused on navigating the difficult journey of a shifting faith and church woundedness as well as empowering people who have been marginalized in their faith systems. She holds a Master’s degree in Management and a certificate in Evangelical Spiritual Guidance from Denver Seminary and has written several books, including Practicing: Changing Yourself to Change the World and Faith Shift: Finding Your Way Forward When Everything You Believe is Coming Apart. She is also the co-founder of #communityheals, a non-profit dedicated to making spaces for transformation accessible for all.
